Our Story
Originally meant to be a collection of devotionals to encourage women in the throes of infertility, miscarriage, or infant loss, “Waiting With Perseverance” is now (March 2024) a blogsite to provide a collection of hard stories of grief infused with the hope of the Christian faith and the encouragement of a community of women who share in similar journeys of suffering through reproductive loss.
Our Approach
Women who have sought comfort in support groups such as our sister ministry, Kairos Eight25 (kairos825.com), in Williamsburg, VA, have told their stories face-to-face so that their journeys can be lightened by not going it alone. But, when face-to-face interaction is not available, we want this blogsite to be a place of Christian comfort offered to women whose personal stories need to be told from the perspective of strong faith and hope in God as well as raw honesty about deep suffering and its lifetime challenges.
“Waiting with perseverance” is a gift of God’s Spirit when life’s circumstances cause intense pain and losses are really hard (Romans 8:25).
